HP Renew
HP Renew is a programme run by HP to reintroduce returned product back into the market. The product is returned for various reasons. One stream of HP Renew is incorrect orders, oversupply, and cancelled orders in which case the product is new and classified by HP as “Gold” product.
Another source of HP Renew is product found to be dead on arrival or product that has been opened and then not wanted by the customer. This product is classified by HP as “Silver” product. Because it has been removed from the original packaging at some point it may have very minor cosmetic imperfections. Product with more than minor imperfections will have those parts replaced with new if they are to be categorised as “Silver”.
All HP “Gold” and “Silver” Renew Products are backed by HP with the same Full-Term warranty and after care as New.Same repair, same phone number, same service. They carry the full warranty valid from the date of purchase from us. And you can apply Care Packs to them as well.
HP Renew has a third category classified by HP as “Bronze” this product is ex display, ex demo and returned faulty product that has had more use. This “Bronze” product is likely to have noticeable cosmetic imperfections but be fully functional. SystemActive has chosennot to supply “Bronze” HP Renew product.
What are the advantages of HP Renew?
There are two. The first is price. HP Renew units offer an alternative to brand new for customers who want to extend their IT budgets. HP Renew Units can be up to 40% lower than the original recommended sale price.
The other reason is because it is a responsible environmental choice. Most companies nowadays have green objectives aimed at reducing their carbon footprint. Start making sustainable choices today by choosing to redeploy products otherwise destined to be waste.
I’m not sure, I still prefer new.
No Problem we stock and supply the full HP New range of products.
However, in almost all cases, put side by side with a brand-new unit, you will not be able to spot which unit is from HP Renew. Put simply, we challenge you to spot the difference. If you want to try, contact us today.
