Your Immersive Journey
Consultancy & Workshops
Immersive technologies encompass virtual, augmented and mixed reality, tracking and input devices, haptics and associated emerging technologies like AI and IOT. Our workshops enable your company to explore and use the right immersive technologies to optimise multiple business functions and workflows. This is achieved through a combination of discovery, reflection and demonstration sessions and the development of an effective Immersive Strategy. This allows your company to negotiate their way through the immersive landscape with a clear appreciation of where value has already been found as well as clear direction and advice, to overcome obstacles that can slow progress relative to competitors.
VR headsets
Virtual Reality (VR) Head Mounted Display (HMDs) offer the user a fully Immersive experience, whereas Mixed Reality HMDs add the ability to see-through the lens giving the user a view of the real-world surroundings. Using a VR headset the user can then interact with the digital content via controllers or hand movements, often with their eye movements tracked for analysis. Whether equipping your sales force with a portable system to present all your product range to customers in VR, or your design team with a powerful tool for design review, or your training team with an immersive training solution, VR headsets can bring a multitude of benefits to your processes, even allowing engineers working remotely to collaborate together in a virtual world.
MR headsets
Mixed Reality (MR) gives the user a 3D graphical overlay into the environment they are viewing, using either a see-through lens (optical pass through) or high-resolution cameras (digital pass through), to mix thier real-world surroundings with 3D images of thier design or product. MR headsets and glasses are growing in performance and capability to allow users a hybrid of combining fully immersive VR content with the practicality of AR devices. For many users the ability to see the real-world when they put on the headset or glasses leads to a seamless immersion and interaction with the content, it also opens up a whole new world of use case possibilities.
AR Smart Glasses and Tablets
Augmented Reality (AR) via Smart Glasses or Tablets is proving to be the essential tool in a wide variety of Enterprise use-cases. From equipping on site teams with hands-free manuals or remote expert capabilities, to viewing real-time IOT data in front of machines on a manufacturing line, AR is changing the way work employees interact with company data and services. Our team can give you hands-on demonstrations of each device, allowing you to experience the best in AR and understand which device is right for your use-case.
Smart glasses
Described as World’s best hands-free wearable rugged Android tablet for industrial workers, The RealWear® HMT-1 has a completely hands-free voice-controlled user interface allowing workers to operate the tools and equipment needed for the job, allowing the worker to maintain full situational awareness and maximum productivity.
Large-scale tracking
When you need to move and be tracked in a large space, or track multiple objects, then the answer is to use a professional tracking solution. SystemActive’s partner Target3D can advise on a wide array of maker and marker-less systems, offer hands-on demonstrations of the technology and install a complete solution of each use-case. If you need to track a full or partial users’ body, or an area up to 50 square meters, or track up to 100 points per zone, then Target3D can advise on and demonstrate the best solutions for your use case.
